#DES2021 through the eyes of VÍTOR BARTOLOMEU

The Digital Enterprise Show began on 18th May, an event that united several of the leading companies in the digital transformation sector, and obviously Telynet could not miss the event at the IFEMA exhibition centre in Madrid.

First day; Tuesday 18th, the venue opened its doors to the public, great personalities attended the inauguration of the event, among them the Deputy Mayoress of Madrid, Begoña Villacís.

Telynet’s task on the first day, as well as the other days of the event, was to raise awareness of the Telynet brand and, if possible, to establish relationships with those interested in our services.

To this end, the Marketing group to which I currently belong and which is managed by Pepi Landete travelled to the event. Our task was to attract possible interested parties, to whom we provided introductory information about Telynet and if they were interested or needed more precise information, we went to the sales representatives, who were in charge of answering any queries, as well as providing more specific information about the company.

Everyone who entered the DES premises had a QR code, which served as a ticket and ID for each person, as due to COVID-19 contact was not allowed and therefore we were able to obtain the information of anyone interested in our brand by means of a reader, avoiding the typical personal information cards.

The event had several areas where senior executives from companies in the sector spoke about current issues in the world of digital transformation, which were streamed so that everyone could listen to them and learn from people who have great experience in the sector and be able to put it into practice in their SMEs.

Second day; Wednesday 19th, we arrived at the event with a clear intention, to increase the number of people to whom we presented the company. To do this, the Marketing group moved around the event offering the possibility of winning a prize draw for a weekend trip to a winery for 2 people. This helped us to gather information about potential customers, since in order to participate they had to fill in a series of information requirements that were useful for our company.

Unfortunately on the same day one of the biggest tourism events of the year, the well known FITUR, started, meaning that many people did not attend the DES, however, several celebrities continued to attend, this time Francisco de la Torre, Juan Medina and Francisco Salado, personalities who attended due to a long term agreement of the DES with the city of Malaga, where the subsequent events of the DES will be held.

Third day; Thursday 20th, the last day of the event and the most important day for Telynet, as Enrique Bermúdez, founder and CTO of the company, presented the company to the public in a 15-minute session and later in a round table discussion with other senior executives from different companies.

The 15-minute session was about how Telynet had to adapt to a new pattern due to the pandemic and how it reinvented itself based on the needs of its homebound customers.

The round table was about reflections on leaders in digital transformation, which lasted about 1 hour and covered very interesting topics from different points of view. Clara Ureña, director of Adigital Labs, and Ignacio Manrique, CMO of Bee Digital, attended the round table.

This closed the last day of the event in a very positive and enriching way, opening doors to other possible events of this style for Telynet thanks to the good response and satisfaction of the company.
